Soap Nut Liquid Detergent
Take 10-12 soap nuts, crush it and add 6cups of water. Boil it for 30-40 minutes. Allow the water to cool, then strain the solution through a muslin cloth, and store in the fridge and it can last long. This liquid detergent can be used for multiple purposes.
Baking Soda & Vinegar Solution (BV Solution)
Mix 1/2 cup vinegar, 1/4 cup baking soda in 2 liters water and store it. You can add essential oils to make it more effective and smell good. This solution in general can be used to clean most of the things.
Use BV solution, and add 2 drops lemon / lavender / tea tree essential oil and use it for the removal of stains or deposits for anything inside washrooms.
For Blocked Drain
Add ½ cup of baking soda down the drain, then a cup of white vinegar. Then pour boiling water down the drain.
Sprinkle Baking soda in the sink and then pour vinegar drops all over and let it sit for few minutes. Then scrub it with damp cloth. You can also use fresh lemon with baking soda to clean the sink.
For Tiles or Floors
Add ¼ cup baking soda and ½ cup vinegar in a bucket of water, and mop the floor or use it on tiles. Add few drops of essential oil like lavender or lemongrass to make it smell fresh.
Use ½ cup of soap nut liquid detergent and add ¼ cup baking soda for 1 wash load
OR Take ½ cup soap nut powder and add ¼ cup baking soda for 1 wash load.
OR Take 5-6 soap nut shells and put it in cotton bag, along with Add ¼ cup baking soda and place it in the washing machine. This can serve purpose of 4-6 washes.
For Glass Windows
Mix ¼ cup lemon juice or Vinegar, with 4 cups of warm water and store it. Spray on glass and clean as usual.
Mix one teaspoon of lemon juice with few drops of vegetable oil. Rub your furniture with this mixture.
